A Place In Time
We held for moment a testimony to ghoul.
We built on time’s sands a fortress eternal.
We revealed a reverence for synthesis.
There came a place that held each of our faces immortal.
We edged on times sands to crush on them permanence,
To chisel of on its fabric our images.
For by our differences we challenged reality.
Born to reverence in chance, gilded in perhapsness,
Chanced by choice to be kings in eternity.
Our sight taunts time in his surety.
Playing on his memories before him.
Captured beyond the surface of fate, we remain.
There is no scarcity of our ramblings in time.
We cascade over every laughter, to reach every heart.
We touch every moment; we linger as residuals to happiness.
We relent to fill the vows of generation beyond.
Copied by every deep that pay unwitful homage to us.
From janitor to brazen charmer, we held firm to woo time.
A space remains vaulted in his good keep.
A sanctuary for time’s beautiful thoughts,
We are kept there to induce pleasure.
We remain forever in him.
All of us.
