La Curtains Diversity
Open my curtain I’m uncertain
Of my surrounding I’m abounding
In a society controlled by a diversity
Of deception of my misconception
I availed my space to be veiled
By a dark eye as Noah's ark
Peoples eyes were open and no wise
Decision was made so their lives ware laid
I perceive life but it can deceive
My mentality and I’m blinded spiritually
I hear thee but don’t listen
I speaketh with no speech
I inhale but don’t breathe
I gaze but don’t stand in awe
I touch but don’t sense
I walk with no footprints behind me
I share tears with a dry eye
I laugh with no expression
I’m quiet with an open mouth
My siren rings with no sound
I’m sensitive with no situation
I’m a poet with no inspiration
How do I tear this curtains care
For me it accepts my misconcepts
I inhabit its habit
To feel and not react
I know its truth but don’t pursue it
I know its promise but don’t receive it
I understand its heart but don’t UNDERSTAND
I broke my window who snuck in?
