AFRICA,WHAT WENT WRONG?

AFRICA, WHAT WENT WRONG?

I wondered through the marvelous mother land,
Through the enchanted mountains and forest,
And seeing nothing but the beauty of nature,
And then I went to the corners of the continent,
And all found was a brother beating up a brother,
Created by the same god.

And I asked my self
AFRICA, what went wrong?

I might have a skin different to yours,
I might speak languages different to yours,
I might be originally from a place far, far away form yours
But we are African and,
Peace is our surname,

What happened to the African humanity, the ubuntu?
What happened to “u muntu ngu muntu nga bantu”?
I use to know that “munhu i munhu hi vanhu”,
But now its survival of the fittest

AFRICANS,
AN AFRICAN IS AN AFRICAN THROUGH OTHER AFRICANS,
And together we stand as AFRICANS,
But apart we fall as individuals.

Africa, what went wrong?

Africa. Our mother land.

Yes, man in Africa shall cry
Cry his beloved country sunk by the waves of a titanic wreck
Man in him I see a deep rotten terror infected in his health
Man in him I see his downfall
Like an erased memory of computer systems,
Legendary in his mind is erased.
Rooted in him is hunger of death & anger of life
Whereas the waves of evil are in festivity of his downfall
The doors of hell are goldfield and glorified by his silence
Angels of darkness are in power of his spirit
And his soul is captured into deep dark secret corners of a dead sea

Man in him I see his downfall
But I, I the daughter of Africa say no man in Africa
Shall sit down and do nothing while humanity is
Drowning inside the talk of yesterday’s dream.
Diplomatic immunity yet untasted had faded into our promised land.
And buried inside melted walls are riddles & fairytales memories.

You children of Africa shall fantasize tomorrow’s dream
You shall touch dawn’s being before it is morning
Daughters and sons of Africa shall render defined rhymes
To put demise to the leading devils whose minds buried within them
Are lame speeches built upon diplomatic excuse.
I am aware, Africa has come to bits but rise shall be a divine deed
Resurrection shall we experience, legends will be waken
Rescued from the knees of democratic forms into a new dramatic humankind
For daughters & sons of Africa shall rise and Africa shall rise

You children of Africa shall fantasize tomorrow’s dream
You shall touch dawn’s being before it is morning
For you will render defined rhymes to put an end to the illegitimate crime
Made legitimatized by undeserving humanity
Worms of plague shall walk in dismay
Dismembering of mutilation shall bow down & surrender before our feet
Incorruptibility shall speak itself and truth shall be known
Inequality shall be politically condemned
When children of Africa render defined rhymes.

When the good moments get gone

Mar 15, 2008   //   by LeboM   //   inspirational  //  No Comments

When the good moments get gone
And so many tears are shed
And all of the emotions are provoked
It’s better shared than felt

And when the good times get gone
And no one thought of what might happen
But it doesn't actually go away
It emphasizes strength in humanity

And when at the last of what's about to be gone
And those most are time spent well
Every tear is worth every bit emotion
Cause time is worth joy

And when they are finally gone
And all the emotions of lust slant to an end
But those moments, believe me, are never forgotten

Within our eyes

Nov 8, 2007   //   by djintro   //   politics  //  No Comments

I call on my brother
To open his eyes
To the danger in his mind
And to protect this humanity

I can see in your eyes
The one that calls me African Brother
Racial tendencies shift perspective
Refocused on new targets

To release his soul
The death of a legend
No more luck, Dude will have
By a fellow brother’s hand he is slain

Revenge unnamed and unheeding
In your eyes I see that racism calling
No longer focused on the colour of my skin
But on where I was born

When will I be African enough?
This earth has seen our forefathers spilt blood
Together defended this land from the Red Coats
Mistakes of the passed resolved, but still I’m not African enough

My African brothers now turn on each other
Ancient tribes still killing for land, honour, and ….?
Killing their fellow brothers because of physical character traits,
Why?

Our brother in arms lies dieing in the street
No longer will his words caress the saddened hearts
His own African brother revenged
An African nation angered

The world sees Africa for what it is
Pointless killing, rape and pillaging of African children
Brothers in arms turn on each other if the corrupt hand requests
Death gangs the true ruler on this land

The intellectual mind leaving to find new homes
Those left suffer under the New South Africa Raciest Regime
Governed by criminals who have forgotten the people
And the promises which placed the corrupt hands in power

Now in pin-striped suits
In the media as the face of democracy
Security guards now protect their doors behind which the raping continues
My African brothers why turn a blind eye and praise such actions?

Is there hope for this land in the corrupt African hand?
As the poor get poorer
My fat African brother gets fatter
The rest of the world looks on unsurprised

In the hope in my land lost
Or are there like minded individuals
Who’s silent, for to long?
Only time will tell

Mama African will tell the same story
As the past we know too well
Racism in African is strong and well my African Brother
Only you can choose a new road, the road on which I now stand.

Our Ancestors

May 10, 2007   //   by ntombi   //   ancestors  //  No Comments

Our ancestors sticks out when we chaotic to our unconsciousness
They bring us from darkness to light when our egos get ruffled
Our ambivalences is that we were the one to structure our domesticity
At times it my lead to war if we fill our authority is not acknowledged
But their worth of value is towards our better change of life strategy
If we flow with their chain
It would be a good structure
Inventing a spiritual form of life
They encode the new meaning of life that forms the power of humanity
I wish their death trips the worldly heroism of war
Their window contributes a lot
One thing we should cherish them for;
It is our memorial services where we gather to bring history alive
Without any dialogue to root-out the truth cause we already know
For sure that our congregation embraces the truth strategy
When we fell down as one of our emotional investment
We call upon them with an exclamation of nostalgia
Shaking like the intoned cellulites because we know our guilt
Ignorance we raged we can no more hide its wrinkled consequence
Guilty conscience fills us as we manage to iron our trouble
We know that our fore-fathers were torn
With no privilege to fix their faults
They use us for reparation
We know that they take-off their shoes from us
It is not to dehumanise but to purify with starch

The "second" need ..
If only once we would hear the voice's off humanity,
if only once we would free us from own slavery,
we could care for those in need of love,
we could free those bond to cages of love,
if only once we would see our now future,
if only once we would be standing together,
we could invision love, to be for all our kind,
we could be brave hands to leave no-one behind,
if only once ..we stop,
if only once we would reach the top,
if only once …
