The Waiting Game

Mar 23, 2009   //   by siwema   //   death  //  No Comments

Some memories have grown
To be full of sorrows,
Of friends and foes
Who cannot see tomorrow,
As we wait for him
Our turn to follow.

As soon as you are born
You begin to die,
Mankind has been told
Many repeated times,
As no man knows
when you come for him.

Our cereals and grains
Would fill your granaries,
And the famine in your belly
Shall forever be a scar,
If light or sunshine
Could trace your shaddow.

Memories Of Yesterday

Mar 23, 2009   //   by siwema   //   love  //  No Comments

My life to me was your shadow
When you smiled I laughed for you
When you cried I wept for you
What I loved most
I gave all for you
What you hated most
I absorbed that for you
I wanted no sorrow to touch you
I always had to swallow
Your anger for you .

You were the faith
That moved my mountain
You were the spring
That filled my fountain.
I saw no dawn welcoming today
I saw no dusk escorting tomorrow
Each day for me I lived for you
But time has made it be
Memories of Yesterday .

La Motives VS Boundaries

La Motives VS Boundaries

A friend of mine
Allocated to this position
But my future was inline
To apply the transition

Thoughts waving thru my mind
Like the wind renders pressure
On the sea have I singed
A warrant of arrest when I met her

Did I allow tomorrow
To dominate my present
Have I compromised to borrow
It the future unknown is much pleasant

I entered her realm first
Astonished by her history
Her speech I rehearsed
And created this poetry

She granted my time
To her valid I was captive
to the public eye this dime
allowed boundaries to be active

signs were being displayed
motives for me were changed
even our interest would parade
and boundaries were pre-arranged

immigration to go over was
declined I felt like a refuge
in my own realm Kaylines border
was crossed so the huge

boundary gates were closed
scattered were my needs
in strength I discovered things that opposed
me so I fed on these seeds

Jeandre searched not for comfort
in beings but in the Holy Ghost
he gives courage to say ‘I’m Fit”
and for these daily events His the Host

Africa

Yes, man in Africa shall cry
Cry his beloved country sunk by the waves of a titanic wreck
Man in him I see a deep rotten terror infected in his health
Man in him I see his downfall
Like an erased memory of computer systems,
Legendary in his mind is erased.
Rooted in him is hunger of death & anger of life
Whereas the waves of evil are in festivity of his downfall
The doors of hell are goldfield and glorified by his silence
Angels of darkness are in power of his spirit
And his soul is captured into deep dark secret corners of a dead sea

Man in him I see his downfall
But I, I the daughter of Africa say no man in Africa
Shall sit down and do nothing while humanity is
Drowning inside the talk of yesterday’s dream.
Diplomatic immunity yet untasted had faded into our promised land.
And buried inside melted walls are riddles & fairytales memories.

You children of Africa shall fantasize tomorrow’s dream
You shall touch dawn’s being before it is morning
Daughters and sons of Africa shall render defined rhymes
To put demise to the leading devils whose minds buried within them
Are lame speeches built upon diplomatic excuse.
I am aware, Africa has come to bits but rise shall be a divine deed
Resurrection shall we experience, legends will be waken
Rescued from the knees of democratic forms into a new dramatic humankind
For daughters & sons of Africa shall rise and Africa shall rise

You children of Africa shall fantasize tomorrow’s dream
You shall touch dawn’s being before it is morning
For you will render defined rhymes to put an end to the illegitimate crime
Made legitimatized by undeserving humanity
Worms of plague shall walk in dismay
Dismembering of mutilation shall bow down & surrender before our feet
Incorruptibility shall speak itself and truth shall be known
Inequality shall be politically condemned
When children of Africa render defined rhymes.

To My Sister

Although you feel your world has ended
And that your broken heart cannot be mended;
Remember  that there’s still tomorrow
And rays of sun will heal your sorrow.

Remember that with every loss
We’re strengthened, through our pain
Because when our dear ones hurt us
We do not suffer in vain.

For in suffering there are lessons learnt
And we often get our fingers burnt
But though you feel extremely blue
Just know God planned something better for you.

So when you feel you don’t understand
Just trust in Him – Don’t let go of His hand
He’ll carry you through – and so will your friends
There will come a time when your hurt will end.

Who am I?

Nov 7, 2007   //   by djintro   //   living  //  No Comments

I am not perfect
I live my life being able to walk in the shoes of sinners
To protect them, defend them
To respect them as needed

I am not a selfish man
But I know, sometimes, that I am a fool for not being selfish
I believe in lies knowingly
Seeing them is my downfall

I hold onto my dreams
Even when I know they will only ever be dreams
False hope in tomorrow
That the world around me will be better then today

I need safety of my heart and mind and soul
That I don’t walk into the world with fear or doubt
That I can believe in the ones I love
That I can love those I hate

I am a man that holds onto hope and love
When I know that I’ve had it and lost it all the same
Not knowing  why or that I’ve have truly seen it
I believe that love can be true, never hurt or leave

I know I need must be strong
For us both, for each other
We need patience to express our feelings
Without fear of the reaction, loss of trust and all of that

I believe in true love
Not knowing what it is or where to find it
Only that i am true to you
With the hope it is the love you need

Hope in you
To make you happy
To be that man you long for
And that my love will be enough

To grow in mind, heart, body and soul
Together
To become stronger
And to find what we are looking for
Happiness together forever

I hope.

For tomorrow; you love me.
Yesterday's and Tomorrow's Love is all I need.

Today is yesterday

Jul 20, 2007   //   by ray-mase   //   inspirational  //  No Comments

Today is yesterday
I shall let the past be bygones
And let the previous inspire my future

Today is yesterday
When I shall extract precious…
…within matrix of disappointments

Today is yesterday
Because yesterday my heart was full of sorrow
But today I rejoice for tomorrow

Today is yesterday
Without Almighty, I was short and saw darkness
But today, the Lord rise me up to see lightness

Today is yesterday…
…yesterday, when all seemed lost
Today, with faith all shall be regained

Today is yesterday
Even during the uncertainty of yesterdays
Today I hear a voice that says to me
…never be afraid to fall
Because you will never lose it all
