The Innocent Face

There she was;
She stood before me with a golden smile across her face
That grabbed hold of my heart in a squeezing manner
Tearing it out from its very roots one by one,
Then she read my gazes and knew i was fascinated-
The simple fascination was escalating every second
Into a blazing fire of heartfelt emotions
That caused me to mumble out my name.

She caught my name before i finished it
In her haste to grab my boyhood.
The luminous light from her beautiful face
Coupled with the affections from her tender lips
Melted away my boyhood and a man was born;
A new man whose first feeling of reality
Was the warmth of her breath when she drew near
In her mission to wake what laid deep therein.

Now there she is;
You tell me to love the world,
You tell me to love, Love, LOVE,
Stop at the second blink before the third
And examine once more what's before you
You will realise that the soul is hollow-
She awakened my love before it could ripe
And she took it with her when she left,
There she is, on another mission.
