When the sun no longer shines

When the sun no longer shines,
all you do is cry.
the smile out your face kills you inside,
but you cannot show it because of pride.

When the sun no longer shines
You try to rise but your bruised ego and confidence just makes you fry.
You good with people because your hurt inside you brilliantly hide,
but inside, you all alone and the pain to yourself you can no longer hide.

When the sun no longer shines
All you do is cry.
Your empty body can now only gasp out empty smiles,
because inside, your crashed soul cannot bare the pain anymore.

When the sun no longer shines
Your heart is longing to fit in and socialise
but fear and dented ego won't let you rise
Now you know your heart inside just dies.

You move up and down with an empty soul
A "black zombie" might fit your description

But why me? you ask yourself
The real answer is within you, some might say,
but you cannot get to it because you're too scared to rise and shine

All you ever wanted was to smile and shine both inside and out
but the demons inside your soul won't let you do it.
They've drown those abilities when the sun set,
now it's no longer shinning,
and so are you…..
